Lawn Fawn You're Sweet! Card

Lawn Fawn You're Sweet! Card

Posted by Elyssa Lee on

Hi crafty friends! Today I’m going to be showing you how I made this simple card to tell someone how sweet they are!

First, I die cut some images from Lawn Fawn Ice Cream You Scream on some white card stock.

Then to add color, I used Seedless PreservesPicked Raspberry, and Spun Sugar distress oxides for the ice cream and Chipped Sapphire, Broken China, and Tumbled Glass distress oxides for the popsicle. For the cone/stick I got some tan colored card stock and inked up Brushed Corduroy distress oxide. Then to add interest I splattered water all over the paper. Distress inks and oxides are a special ink that react with water creating a cool distressed look :)

I decided to try something new and created a rainbow watercolor background on a Lawn Fawn Outside in Stitched rectangle. For my “you’re sweet" sentiment I die cut the Lawn Fawn You're Sweet Line Border out of some shimmery mint card stock.

Once I had all my pieces I adhered them on with Tombow Dot Runner and Foam Squares.

And wallah! You have a super quick and easy card to give to someone dear to you! Thank you so much for visiting! Have a great day!
