This card features the Lawnfawn Darling Daffodils Die Set and the Big Scripty Sentiments Foil Plates. The die set comes with a forward-facing daffodil and extra petals to create daffodils with different looks to complement each other. I also used the Secret Garden Window Die to create the beautiful arch frame. For a more in-depth look at how this card came together, simply click the ScrapbookPal YouTube link below.
To keep these daffodils bright and vibrant, I used a mix of yellow, purple, brown and green Copics to color in the die cut pieces. Then, to add an extra element of dimension, I shaped the petals slightly with the Spellbinders Tool N’ One affixed with the medium stylus tip.
The background was made using a mix of Lawnfawn pattern papers. The frame was cut from the older Watercolor Wishes Rainbow Paper Pad and the background within the frame was from the new What’s Sewing On? Paper pad. After foiling the “Big Hugs” sentiment in Polished Brass Spellbinders Foil, I assembled the card with foam adhesive to maintain the look of the flowers popping out of the frame.
Finally, I added some Pinkfresh Studio Amethyst Glitter Drops and this A2-sized spring card was complete!
