Let Your Dreams Take Flight by Amanda

Posted by ScrapbookPal Inc on

Hi crafty friends! It’s Amanda from Twiddler’s Nook today sharing a card featuring some Catherine Pooler stamps and dies. I hope you enjoy it!

To start things off, I stamped and colored images from the Take Flight stamp set with my copic markers. I kept my color palette simple from the pink-red to orange and yellow with a little splash of blue violets.

Next, I die cut the Circle Weave die 4 times - 3 from white cardstock and one from light green. Then I used my Tombow Mono Multi liquid glue to adhere the layers together.

After that, I cut a piece of white cardstock down to 4x5.25 inches and stamped a sentiment from Take Flight in the lower right corner. I adhered the Circle Weave dies to the upper center and then popped the butterflies up on that with foam squares.

I added foam tape to the back of that panel and adhered it to a white card base and switched over to finishing touches. For those, I added a scattering of Pinkfresh Studio peach fuzz gems with liquid glue and Wink of Stella glitter brush pen on the wings of the butterflies. Last, I added glossy accents to small parts of the butterfly wings for extra shine and shimmer.

I hope you find some inspiration to create something wonderful and share it with someone! I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!
