Vibrant Pink, White and Gold Merry Mug A2 Card Tutorial

Vibrant Pink, White and Gold Merry Mug A2 Card Tutorial

Posted by Ciara Taylor on

Thank you so much for joining me for this Vibrant Pink, White and Gold Merry Mug A2 Card Tutorial, Let's jump right in.

I started this card with an A2 base which when scored is 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches, I used the SpellBinders Postage Edge Rectangles to create my base layer, out of gold cardstock and my white layer that I then ran through my die-cutting machine with the Spellbinders Tufted 3D Embossing Folder.  For some added interest I also splattered some Picked Raspberry oxide ink and Gold ink onto the white panel and the lightest pink layer for the cup.

Next, I cut out my mug from the Spellbinders Merry Mug Creations set in two shades of pink and then lightly blended on some Picked Raspberry Oxide ink for a bit more interest. From that same die set I also cut out the whip cream, from white glitter cardstock and the snowflake from gold cardstock. To adhere my layers I did use mostly Nuvo Deluxe Glue as I like a liquid glue so I have a little wiggle time, I used some Thin 3D foam squares behind the cup just to give it a little extra dimension.

For the Sentiment, I used the Smallest die in the Postage Edge Rectangles and the coordinating Santa's Sippin' Sayings Stamps. I stamped my sentiment in Picked Raspberry Oxide ink and used a little of that gold ink to edge my sentiment piece to help it stand up against the similarly colored background. Once everything was adhered I used a couple Matte Gold Pearls for a bit of added shimmer and shine and called this card done.

Thank you so much for taking this quick look at my Vibrant Pink, White and Gold Merry Mug A2 Card Tutorial. If you would like a more in-depth look please check out the video below, I also have a complete supplies list in case you want to know exactly what I used. I hope to see you again very soon!!
