Whimsical Blooms Holiday Placesetting

Posted by Mary Jo Johnston on

Happy holidays!  Are you decorating the house, or maybe setting the table for a festive celebration?  We're creating a whimsical place setting to help you bring a little extra magic to your holiday table.  This project includes a napkin ring, place card and a special thank you tag for your guests.

Follow these step by step instructions to create your own.  Happy crafting!

Mary Jo

Napkin Ring:

1.  From the Pinkfresh Studio Whimsical Blooms clear stamps, stamp one small floral image and one large floral image.  Color using Copic Markers:

Copic - Sketch Marker - Lipstick Red - R29

Copic - Sketch Marker - Cadmium Red - R27

Copic - Ciao Marker - Ocean Green - G28

2.  Die cut your images using the Pinkfresh Studio Whimsical Blooms Dies. Set the large floral aside for the placecard.

3.  Cut a thin strip of patterned paper to wrap around your napkin ring.  (You can find napkin rings at your local craft store or even make your own from cardstock!)  Adhere with glue.

4.  Attach your small floral die cut to a large button and adhere to the top of your napkin ring.

Place Card:

1.  Cut a piece of white cardstock 5" x 3.5", fold in half.

2.  Adhere your large floral die cut to the card, slightly off center.

3.  Stamp your sentiment using the Pinkfresh Studio Whimsical Blooms clear stamps.  Add your guest's name to the top of the card.

Thank You Tag:

1.  Cut a small tag shape.

2.  Stamp your floral image and sentiment from the Pinkfresh Studio Whimsical Blooms clear stamps. Color using Copic Markers.

3.  Adhere a small strip of patterned paper across the top of your tag and tie a small piece of decorative twine.

Create several of each and you're ready to decorate the table! Enjoy!
