Hello crafters!
Raquel from @Paintsandglitter here. Today’s tutorial features Wild Meadow Wreath stencils and dies from Pinkfresh Studio. This is a lovely collection that is perfect for anyone who loves easy-to-make, colorful cards. Today I am focusing on soft color blends and texture to make an easel card. To achieve this, we will also use Stellar Paste from Simon Hurley, a watercolor brush and a little splash of water.

Our card base measures 4.25” x 8.5”. It is folded at 4.25” and also at a diagonal on the front panel, as shown in the video linked below. Using Oxide inks, color all of the wreath layers, the sentiment layer, and also splatter the papers with a wet brush. Did you know you can use ink left behind on the brushes to blend the leaves and flowers? If you’d like to see how, click on the video! You will also see how I used the plastic wrapper from Oxide inks to pounce the Stellar Paste onto the background of the card layers for subtle shine and texture. This is a technique I have used on walls, and it can't be easier!

After cutting graduated card squares using Dotted Postage Square dies and the Wreath dies, you can then assemble the card in layers, taking note of how they are positioned so as to allow for the card to open with an easel fold. Add height to the inner postage stamp embellishment using foam squares. This will act as a stopper for your open card, and also allow you to fold the card flat for mailing. The result is a gorgeous card you'll be happy to gift to your loved ones. Below are all links for purchase, and I invite you to watch the video for further details.
