Hi Friends! Kelly Fusco here & for today I'm using Hero Arts Mother & Father Animals Stamp & die set. This is such a sweet set. I LOVE hugging animals!
To start off I stamped my image onto 80lb Neenah cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I also stamped the sentiments with Versafine Onyx & heat embossed them with clear Embossing powder on top.
I spaced them apart so I could make them into strips.
I colored my image with Copic markers E31,E33,E34 and E37,E27,E59 and R01 for the ears/cheeks.
I used Distress ink in Tea Dye to add a tint of color to my sentiment strips then I cut them out and punched a TINY hole to them to allow for my thread to fit through.
For my background panel I used Distress spray stains in:
Carved Pumpkin, Vintage Photo, & Gathered Twigs.
Once dry I added some ink blending with the Harlequin Shifter stencil with Distress ink in Vintage photo. I then added Crackle paste and let dry then a bit of Distress crayon in the Vintage photo color as well.
The last step was to thread my sentiments and tie it around the top of my panel & add a bow.
I mounted my bears with foam tape along with the Happy Fathers day sentiment. I Mounted panel onto a matching cardbase
Then added a few iridescent gems & done!
This card is a different way to add sentiments & I wanted it to be extra special for my extra special Dad💗🐻
