Honey Bee Stamps - Winter Watercolor

Honey Bee Stamps - Winter Watercolor

Posted by Teri Wilson on

Hello friends. Today I am sharing two versions of holiday cards made with Honey Bee Stamps and Spellbinder products!
It is amazing what a difference ink choice can make in the final result!
We'll start with Blue Poinsettias
The color is a little different but the warm wishes are the same.
Stamps and Dies used for both cards are Honey Bee Stamps Winter Watercolor Stamp Set  plus the Coordinating DiesBlueprint Sketch Distress Ink is a perfect color for the bright blooms. The branches are stamped with Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness Distress Inks.
Use Honey Bee Stamp's Pierced Fancy Flakes Die to create texture on an A2 card panel. Ink blend Blue Print Sketch Distress Ink on the panel beginning in the center and fanning out getting lighter as you move out.
The red poinsettia card is created using many of the same techniques. The bloom is stamped with Lumberjack Plaid Distress Ink and the evergreen branches are stamped with Rustic Wilderness Distress Inks
Stamp the bushy branches on a Kraft A2 panel using Vintage Photo Distress Ink and radiating out from the center of the card.
A sentiment from Honey Bee Stamps Heart Be Light finishes the card along with a light splatter of white paint!
