HELLO FRIENDS! I’m Nancy Sheads from Rowhouse Greetings and I’m back with a new project featuring stamps and dies from the new release by Catherine Pooler Designs combined with one of my favorite  Anita Jeram images by Colorado Craft Company.

Today’s project features:

  • Bunnies & Robin - Colorado Craft Company
  • Round About Messages Stamp Set - Catherine Pooler Designs
  • Round About Dies - Catherine Pooler Designs
  • Filigree Background Stamp - Catherine Pooler Designs

To start, I created a card base from a piece of Neenah Classic Crest 100# paper cut to 5.5” x 8.5” scored at 4.25” to create a top folding card. I set aside the card base while I worked on the card front.

I cut a piece of white cardstock to 4.5” x 5.5” to use as the base for the card front. I rubbed the surface of the cardstock with an Embossing Magic Bag and stamped it with the Filigree Background Stamp by Catherine Pooler Designs using Versamark Watermark Ink. I covered the ink with Nuvo Embossing Powder in Glacier White and set it with a heat tool.

Once the embossing powder cooled, I added color to the bottom half of the cardstock by applying Distress Ink in Broken China using a domed foam blending tool. Afterwards, I lightly rubbed the embossed image with a paper towel to remove any excess ink.

For the focal image, I create a decorative circle and a plain circle die cut from white cardstock using the Round About Dies by Catherine Pooler Designs.

On the plain circle, I stamped one of the images from the Bunnies & Robin stamp set by Colorado Craft Company and one of the sentiments from the Round About Messages Stamp Set by Catherine Pooler Designs using Amalgam Ink in Obsidian by Gina K. Designs.

I colored the image with Copic markers (see list below).

Once the image was colored, I applied Crafty Foam Tape to the back for dimension and assembled the card as shown.

Let’s take another look at the finished card!

That’s all for me today! Hope you enjoyed today’s project!

Nancy
